Welcome to our Childcare Ministry!
The purpose of our Childcare Ministry is to provide a safe and secure Christian environment where children may experience God’s love! It is our intent to ensure an atmosphere that is not only pleasant for children and reassuring for the parents/guardians, but also encourages the beginning of a friendly relationship with the church. With this purpose in mind, we offer these policies to establish a mutual understanding of expectations.
On Sunday, childcare is offered during the 8:15 a.m. and the 11:00 a.m. worship services and during 9:30 a.m. Sunday School. We employ professional childcare providers who have served in the nursery for many years, are trained in infant and child CPR and first aid, and are in compliance with our church’s Child Protection Policy. We require each child be signed in by a parent/guardian, and we ask that newcomers complete a registration form. We do use a paging system to notify you when your child is extremely unsettled, sick or of course, in case of an emergency.
Please note that all childcare services that use our church facilities must be arranged and authorized by Cindy Banek, Director of Christian Education and Discipleship (email@example.com or (757) 229-1771 ext 258).
